AIS receiver data is analyzed by serial port
Serial port:
Serial interface is referred to as serial port, also known as serial communication interface or serial communication interface (usually refers to COM interface), is an extension interface using serial communication mode. Serial Interface is the sequential transmission of data bit by bit, which is characterized by simple communication lines. Two-way communication can be realized with only a pair of transmission lines (telephone lines can be directly used as transmission lines), thus greatly reducing the cost. It is especially suitable for long-distance communication, but the transmission speed is slow.
AIS receiver:
Ship automatic identification system refers to a new navigational aid system applied to maritime safety and communication between ship and shore, and between ship and ship. It is usually composed of VHF communication machine, GPS locator and communication controller connected with shipborne display and sensor, which can automatically exchange ship position, speed, heading, ship name, call sign and other important information. When the AIS on board sends these messages to the outside, it also receives the information of other ships within the VHF coverage range, thus realizing the automatic response. In addition, as an open data transmission system, it can be connected with radar, ARPA, ECDIS, VTS and other terminal equipment and the INTERNET to form a maritime traffic management and monitoring network. It is an effective means to obtain traffic information without radar detection, and can effectively reduce ship collision accidents.
